FERC staff prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the 507G Line Abandonment Project, proposed by Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, LLC under docket CP24-529-000. Tennessee seeks authorization to abandon in place approximately 58.0 miles and remove approximately 17.3 miles of its 16-inch-diameter 507G-100 Line, plus abandon in place about 7.9 miles and remove about 1.1 miles of the 12-inch-diameter 507G-500 supply lateral, all in Acadia, Vermilion, Iberia, and St. Mary Parishes, Louisiana. FERC staff concluded the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. Comments are due June 2, 2025.12
