FERC issued this Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS for the Anderson Dam Hydroelectric Project (No. 5737), located on Coyote Creek in Santa Clara County, California. The applicant, Santa Clara Valley Water District, proposes to seismically retrofit Anderson Dam over approximately seven years beginning in 2026, decommission the hydroelectric facility, implement downstream conservation measures, and surrender its hydroelectric exemption.
