FERC published a Notice of Schedule for preparation of an Environmental Assessment for the Appalachia to Market III Project, proposed by Texas Eastern Transmission, LP (Docket No. CP25-491-000). The project would replace about 2 miles of 24-inch-diameter idled pipeline with 36-inch-diameter pipe in Southwest Pennsylvania, uprate the Bedford Compressor Station from 26,000 to 35,500 horsepower, and install related facilities to provide approximately 32,000 dekatherms per day of incremental capacity from the Appalachian supply basin to Pennsylvania delivery points. The EA is scheduled for issuance on October 10, 2025, followed by a 30-day comment period, with a federal authorization decision deadline of January 8, 2026.12
