EPA is requesting public comment on an updated proposed mitigation memorandum for the interim registration review decision for atrazine (FIFRA Case No. 0062). The update incorporates a revised level of concern of 9.7 micrograms per liter (ug/L) that triggers mitigation, corrects exposure modeling errors identified during the 2022 comment period, and expands the menu of run-off and erosion control options growers may choose to protect aquatic plant communities in vulnerable watersheds. Mitigation would appear on product labeling and direct users to EPA's online mitigation menu and the Bulletins Live! Two system. Comments are due February 3, 2025.12
