The Federal Highway Administration, acting on behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), published a final agency actions notice for the Broad Causeway Bridge Replacement Project in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project replaces an existing bascule bridge with a 65-foot High-Level Fixed Bridge connecting Bay Harbor Islands to North Miami over approximately 0.77 miles. FDOT approved a Type 2 Categorical Exclusion on October 10, 2025, along with a Section 4(f) Resource Programmatic Approval. Judicial review of these final agency actions is barred unless a claim is filed by May 11, 2026.12
