FERC has issued a Notice of Availability and Adoption of a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for Idaho Power Company's application to permit a non-project use of lands and waters within the C.J. Strike Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 2055) in Idaho. The proposed action would allow the Idaho Water Resources Board to construct an intake facility, pumping station, and pipeline to withdraw raw water from the project reservoir to supply Mountain Home Air Force Base. FERC adopted a BLM-prepared EA titled 'Establishment of a Sustainable Water Supply for Mountain Home Airforce Base, Idaho,' concluding the action is not a major federal action significantly affecting the human environment.
