The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is funding the Camden County Port of Camden Access and Infrastructure Resiliency Project in the City of Camden, New Jersey, using Fiscal Year 2022 Port Infrastructure Development Program funds. The project reconstructs roughly 3 miles of roadways in the Camden Port District to improve freight access between the Port of Camden and nearby interstates, while also upgrading pedestrian safety infrastructure in a historically disadvantaged community. MARAD has determined a Programmatic Agreement under the National Historic Preservation Act is required and is inviting public comment on that agreement, with comments due September 13, 2024.1
