The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) staff prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for the Carnation Project, proposed by Texas Gas Transmission, LLC, under Docket No. CP26-16-000. The project involves constructing and operating natural gas facilities in Hamilton County, Ohio, including one new 14,189-horsepower compressor unit and ancillary facilities at the existing Crosby-Harrison Compressor Station, and two new single-run regulators with associated aboveground piping at the New Haven Regulators Facility. The EA concludes that approval of the proposed project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.12
