The NRC issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for a proposed amendment to Special Nuclear Materials License No. SNM-928, held by the Cimarron Environmental Response Trust for the former Cimarron Fuel Fabrication Facility in Logan County, Oklahoma. The amendment would incorporate Revision 3 of the site decommissioning plan, authorizing Environmental Properties Management, LLC to construct, operate, and dismantle a groundwater treatment system targeting uranium contamination over approximately 16 years. The NRC concluded the action would have a beneficial impact on groundwater quality with no significant adverse environmental impacts, and no EIS is required.12
