The Bureau of Indian Affairs published a Notice of Availability for the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Coquille Indian Tribe Fee-to-Trust and Gaming Facility Project in Medford, Jackson County, Oregon. The Tribe seeks to transfer approximately 2.4 acres into federal trust for gaming purposes. The FEIS analyzes four alternatives, with Alternative 1 (the Proposed Project at the Medford Site) selected as the Preferred Alternative. Cooperating agencies include the City of Medford, Jackson County, and the Oregon Department of Transportation. A Record of Decision will be issued no sooner than 30 days after EPA publishes its Notice of Availability.12
