This is a notice of withdrawal of the March 22, 2024 Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Downtown Access Project, a proposed set of transportation improvements to Interstate 11 (formerly I-515)/US 95/US 93 in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. FHWA and the Nevada Department of Transportation are rescinding the EIS process due to reprioritization of major projects within Nevada and escalating overall project costs. No alternatives were analyzed and no impacts were assessed; any future federally assisted action in this corridor would require a new NEPA review.123
