FERC has issued a Notice of Availability for an environmental assessment (EA) prepared for the Eunice Reliability and Lake Charles Supply Project (Docket No. CP24-468-000), proposed by Texas Gas Transmission, LLC and Gulf South Pipeline Company, LLC. The project replaces and expands compression facilities at the existing Eunice Compressor Station in Acadia Parish, Louisiana, and installs overpressure protection at the Woodlawn Valve Station in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. It would create 120,000 Dth/d of new transportation capacity leased to Gulf South for customers in the Lake Charles area. FERC staff concluded the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the human environment. Comments are due by March 3, 2025.12
