The NRC issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for a license amendment request by Omaha Public Power District to approve the License Termination Plan (LTP) Revision 2 for the decommissioning Fort Calhoun Station, Unit 1, in Washington County, Nebraska. The amendment updates dose calculations and final site survey requirements for the Auxiliary Building basement and Containment Building for concrete structures deeper than 3 meters below ground surface. The NRC concluded no significant radiological or non-radiological impacts would result, rendering an EIS unnecessary. The site has been shut down since October 2016 and is undergoing DECON decommissioning toward unrestricted release.12
