HUD's Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing has issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS for the Fulton Park Redevelopment Project in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Applicants Fulton Park Development LLC and HPD seek local and federal discretionary actions to redevelop two underutilized sites with approximately 2,035 dwelling units across 12 new buildings, plus retail and community facility space. The 209 existing Section 8 units subject to a HUD Housing Assistance Payments contract would be replaced. Three alternatives are proposed: No Action, Preferred Alternative, and No Unmitigated Significant Adverse Impacts Alternative. The public scoping meeting is April 2, 2026, with written comments due April 13, 2026.12
