The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has issued a Notice of Availability for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement covering relicensing of three hydroelectric projects on the Connecticut River operated by Great River Hydro, LLC: the Vernon Project (FERC No. 1904), Bellows Falls Project (FERC No. 1855), and Wilder Project (FERC No. 1892), located across six counties in Vermont and New Hampshire. The draft EIS analyzes the applicants' relicensing proposals and alternatives. Public comments are due by July 29, 2025, and two comment sessions are scheduled for July 17, 2025 in Bellows Falls, Vermont. This notice is procedural; the substantive impact analysis is in the underlying draft EIS.12
