Notice of Public Workshop and Notice of Availability of Draft Environmental Assessment for General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The FAA released a Draft Environmental Assessment for proposed improvements at General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Draft EA evaluates decommissioning of Runway 1R/19L and Runway 13/31, conversion of Runway 1R/19L south of Taxiway W into a parallel taxiway with lighting and pavement rehabilitation, removal of Taxiways G, U, and N connectors, and removal of runway and taxiway pavement and electrical utilities. A public workshop was scheduled for October 23, 2024, and written comments were accepted through November 6, 2024.

Notice of Availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision for the I-15; Farmington to Salt Lake City Project in Utah and Final Federal Agency Actions

FHWA, on behalf of UDOT, has issued a combined Final EIS and Record of Decision for the I-15 Farmington to Salt Lake City Project in Davis and Salt Lake Counties, Utah. The project improves safety, replaces aging infrastructure, and enhances mobility for all modes along I-15 from Farmington to Salt Lake City. Two primary alternatives were analyzed: No-Action and Action Alternative. UDOT selected the Action Alternative with the Farmington 400 West Option and the Salt Lake City 1000 North Northern Option. The ROD became operative October 3, 2024, and judicial review claims must be filed by March 17, 2025.
