The NRC issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for an exemption request by Constellation Energy Generation, LLC at Limerick Generating Station (LGS) in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The exemption allows Constellation to maintain three already-loaded MPC-89-CBS multi-purpose canisters and load five new MPC-89-CBS canisters in the HI-STORM FW MPC Storage System at the LGS ISFSI, despite noncompliance with Certificate of Compliance No. 1032, Amendment No. 1, Revision No. 1. The NRC concluded no significant environmental impacts would result, making a full EIS unnecessary.
