FERC has issued a Notice of Availability for the Environmental Assessment (EA) covering Mangum Gas Storage LLC's proposed 2025 Amendment Project (Docket No. CP26-233-000) in Utah. The project amends Magnum's existing Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to redesign two authorized storage caverns, add two new solution-mined caverns (total four caverns at 5.2 Bcf each), add a brine disposal pond, and establish two new pipeline interconnections. Facilities span Millard and Utah counties along a 61.5-mile header pipeline. FERC staff concludes the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. Comments are due January 20, 2026.12
