This is a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for a non-capacity amendment to FERC Hydroelectric Project No. 137, operated by Pacific Gas and Electric Company on Tiger Creek in Amador County, California. PG&E proposes to construct a new 240-foot-long, 40-foot-wide concrete spillway and plunge pool at the right abutment of the Tiger Creek regulator dam, along with a spoil area, staging areas, a concrete batch plant, and access roads. Construction is expected to take approximately two years. The EA is scheduled for completion by June 18, 2025, after which a 30-day public comment period will follow.12
