FERC staff issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Assessment for the relicensing of the 12.6-megawatt Moose River Hydroelectric Project (No. 4349), located on the Moose River in Lewis County, New York. EONY Generation Limited filed the relicense application on April 26, 2024. Staff determined, based on the record including comments on the REA notice, that licensing would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the human environment. The EA is targeted for issuance by July 10, 2026, after which all comments will be considered in the final licensing decision.12
