NOAA's Office for Coastal Management has approved a 103-acre, single-parcel boundary expansion for the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve on Prudence Island, Rhode Island. NOAA prepared a draft EA, solicited public comment, and concluded that the expansion would not have significant environmental effects. A final EA and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) have been issued. This notice announces both the approval under the Coastal Zone Management Act and the availability of the final EA/FONSI.
