The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for an exemption request from Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3 in York County, Pennsylvania. The exemption allows CEG to load seven MPC-89 canisters in the HI-STORM FW MPC Storage System using the HI-TRAC transfer cask beginning June 2025, despite CEG's site-specific tornado-generated missile analysis not conforming to the NRC-approved methodology in Certificate of Compliance No. 1032, Amendment No. 1, Revision No. 1. The NRC found no significant environmental impacts and determined a full EIS is not warranted.12
