The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is preparing an Environmental Assessment for a temporary variance requested by Pacific Gas & Electric Company from minimum instream flow requirements for the Poe Hydroelectric Project (No. 2107) on the North Fork Feather River in Butte County, California. PG&E proposes to reduce flows from Poe Dam to 100 cubic feet per second from June 1 through November 15, 2025, affecting approximately 8 miles of bypassed reach, while radial bypass gates are recoated and seals, hoist, and controls are replaced. Commission staff planned to issue the EA by June 20, 2025.12
