This is a 30-day extension of the public comment period for the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) analyzing a potential land exchange between the King Cove Corporation and the U.S. Government involving lands within the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge and Izembek Wilderness Area in Alaska. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service leads the review. If the exchange is approved, King Cove Corporation would use the acquired land for a noncommercial road corridor connecting the City of King Cove to the Cold Bay Airport. The draft SEIS updates the 2013 EIS analysis and adds a new land exchange alternative. Comments are due by February 13, 2025.1
