FERC is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Pulaski Project, proposed by Columbia Gulf Transmission, LLC under Docket No. CP26-11-000. Columbia proposes to install 41.3 miles of new 30-inch-diameter natural gas pipeline from Lincoln County, Kentucky to a new South Somerset Delivery Meter Station in Pulaski County, Kentucky, supplying 253 million standard cubic feet per day to the John S. Cooper Power Station. The EA is scheduled for issuance on June 22, 2026, with a 30-day comment period and a federal authorization decision deadline of September 20, 2026. Scoping comments raised water quality, pipeline leaks, community health and safety, and natural resource impacts.12
