The U.S. Forest Service signed the final Record of Decision approving the Revised Land Management Plan for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests in north central Idaho. The forests span approximately four million acres across seven counties and six ranger districts. The Revised LMP replaces 1987-era forest plans and establishes desired conditions, standards, guidelines, management area allocations, wilderness recommendations, and wild and scenic river designations. The plan becomes effective 30 days after publication of this notice. The notice does not contain a full impact analysis; that analysis is in the underlying FEIS.12
