FERC has published a Notice of Availability of a Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for the Riverside Hydroelectric Project, a relicensing action on the Androscoggin River in Coos County, New Hampshire, applied for by Great Lakes Hydro America, LLC. No federal land is occupied by or within the project boundary. FERC staff conclude that licensing the project, with appropriate environmental protective measures, would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. Comments are due within 30 days of the notice date of June 4, 2024.
