The Bureau of Land Management issued a Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan Amendment for the Rough Hat Clark Solar Project in Clark County, Nevada. Applicant Candela Renewables, LLC proposed a 400 MW solar photovoltaic facility with 700 MW of battery energy storage on approximately 2,469 acres of BLM-managed land in the Pahrump Valley, roughly 38 miles west of Las Vegas, including a 230 kV transmission line to the GridLiance Trout Canyon Substation. The ROD authorizes construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning under the Resources Integration Alternative and amends the 1998 Las Vegas RMP to reclassify the project area from VRM Class III to VRM Class IV.12
