The NRC issued an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for SHINE Technologies, LLC's request to amend Construction Permit No. CPMIF-001 for the SHINE Medical Isotope Production Facility in Rock County, Wisconsin. The amendment extends the latest date for completion of construction from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2029. The NRC found no significant radiological or non-radiological environmental impacts because the amendment authorizes no new construction activities, no additional land disturbance, and no facility modifications beyond what was already evaluated in NUREG-2183 and its 2022 supplement. Construction delays stem from the first-of-a-kind nature of the facility.12
