NOAA's Office for Coastal Management has approved a boundary expansion for the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve in Charleston, Oregon, adding 1,771 acres (30 acres GIS correction, 1,541 acres of Oregon Division of State Lands parcels, and 200 acres of state-owned waters) to bring the reserve to 6,542 total acres. NOAA prepared a draft EA under NEPA, solicited public comment, determined no significant environmental effects would result, and issued a final EA and FONSI. This notice announces the approval and availability of the final EA and FONSI.
