The FAA issued a Final Environmental Assessment and Mitigated Finding of No Significant Impact/Record of Decision for SpaceX Falcon 9 launch operations at Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The Final EA analyzes up to 120 Falcon 9 launches per year at SLC-40 (an increase of 70 from the 50 previously authorized in a July 2020 EA), construction and operation of a new first-stage booster landing zone at SLC-40, up to 34 booster landings annually at that zone, and FAA approval of related airspace closures. The U.S. Department of the Air Force is a cooperating agency and may issue a separate decision. The FAA received 4,275 public comments on the Draft EA.1
