The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for its review and approval of the initial decommissioning funding plan (DFP) submitted by Exelon Generation Company, LLC and the updated DFP submitted by Constellation Energy Generation, LLC for the independent spent fuel storage installation at Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (Docket No. 72-77). The NRC concluded the action is purely procedural and administrative: it authorizes no changes to licensed operations, no construction, no land disturbance, and no new radiological or non-radiological releases. An EIS is not required.1
