FERC staff has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Tioga Pathway Project, proposed by National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation (Docket No. CP24-514-000). The project would provide 190,000 dekatherms per day of firm transportation service from the Tioga County, Pennsylvania natural gas production area to downstream delivery points, and modernize existing pipeline infrastructure. Facilities include replacing 3.8 miles of 1936-vintage pipeline with new 20-inch pipe in Potter County, installing 19.5 miles of new 20-inch pipeline across Potter and Tioga Counties, and constructing a new over-pressure protection station. FERC staff concludes the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. Comments are due March 17, 2025.1
