FERC staff has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the WT-0 Compressor Station Project, proposed by Transwestern Pipeline Company, LLC under Docket No. CP25-37-000. The project would construct a new compressor station in Chaves County, New Mexico, featuring a 13,220 horsepower Solar Mars 90 natural gas turbine-driven compressor, metering facilities, a tie-in to Transwestern's existing 24-inch dual lateral pipeline, and a new access road. The station would provide approximately 80,000 dekatherms per day of new firm transportation service. FERC staff concludes the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the human environment. The Bureau of Land Management participated as a cooperating agency because the proposed site is on federal lands. Comments on the EA are due by September 2, 2025.
