This is a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the 750-kilowatt Warren Hydroelectric Project No. 2391, filed by PE Hydro Generation, LLC for a subsequent minor license. The project is located on the Shenandoah River near Front Royal in Warren County, Virginia. FERC staff determined that licensing the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the human environment, and therefore an EA rather than an EIS is warranted. The EA is targeted for issuance by December 31, 2025.123
