FERC has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Ameren-EMRT Big Hollow Project, proposed by Enable Mississippi River Transmission, LLC (EMRT) under Docket No. CP26-2-000. EMRT requests authorization to construct and operate an approximately 9.6-mile, 20-inch-diameter natural gas lateral pipeline from Monroe County, Illinois to Jefferson County, Missouri, plus a measurement and regulation station and appurtenant facilities, to deliver about 200,000 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to Ameren's Big Hollow Energy Center at the site of the retired Rush Island Energy Center. The EA concludes the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. Comments are due by May 11, 2026.1234
