The Bureau of Land Management has issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS for the Bridger Pipeline Expansion Project, a proposed 646.8-mile, 36-inch buried crude oil pipeline running from the U.S./Canada border in Phillips County, Montana to an existing terminal near Guernsey, Wyoming. Bridger Pipeline LLC is the applicant, seeking a 30-year ROW grant across roughly 63.8 miles of federal land managed by BLM and the U.S. Forest Service. BLM and Montana DEQ are joint leads; the Army Corps, USFWS, and USFS are cooperating agencies. The scoping comment period closes May 1, 2026, with a Draft EIS targeted for August 2026 and a Final EIS in spring 2027.12345
