This Federal Register notice announces the availability of the 2025 Record of Decision (ROD) for the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A) Integrated Activity Plan (IAP). The Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office, signed the ROD on December 22, 2025. The Secretary adopted alternative E from the 2020 IAP EIS and 2025 IAP environmental assessment. The ROD is effective immediately and is consistent with Executive Order 14153 and Public Law 119-47, which disapproved the 2022 NPR-A IAP ROD under the Congressional Review Act.
